HEY MIDWEST (and others!) – A Developmental Transformations (DvT)
intensive just for you! Please spread to those who you think might be
interested in trying DvT for the first time – there is a beginning and
advanced track.

DvT Intensive Workshop and Training, February 25 and 26, 2017 in Chicago!

INTRO SPECIAL
Taught by Christine Mayor
$100* (*Columbia students and faculty discounted rate of $75)

9-1PM Saturday Feb 25, 2017
A morning introduction to Developmental Transformations (DvT). Theory,
group and individual experientials will be provided.

ADVANCED CLASS (at least 1 year of DvT experience required)
Co-taught by Christine Mayor and Renée Pitre
$250* (*for current students of Institute Polaris DvT cohort,
discounted rate of $200)
9-4pm
Saturday February 25, 2017 + Sunday February 26, 2017
Advanced theoretical topics, skills building for groups and
individuals and opportunities for individual therapeutic sessions.

Participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodations.

Facilitators:
Christine Mayor, MA, RDT: Christine is a Developmental Transformations
Institute graduate, completing her PhD student Wilfrid Laurier
University in Canada. She has published several articles and book
chapters on issues of power in DvT practice, critical race theory, and
arts in social action. She serves as the Associate Editor of Drama
Therapy Review, the official peer-reviewed journal of the North
American Drama Therapy Association and teaches for Lesley University
and New York University. Christine also served as the Director of
Public Health and Social Policy at the Post Traumatic Stress Center in
New Haven, Connecticut, where she led a multi-city trauma-centered
drama therapy program in the schools called ALIVE.

Renée Pitre, MA, RDT/BCT: Renée is a Developmental Transformations
Institute graduate and a PhD student at Lesley University. She has
published numerous articles on DvT and trauma. She is the Director of
Training, Research & DramaTherapy at the Post Traumatic Stress Center
in New Haven, CT where she is also a full time clinician and trainer
for ALIVE. She is active in the training and supervision of many drama
therapists both nationally and internationally.
